The Computer Department is having a highly talented staff team with a good blend of theoretical and practical knowledge, comprising of 1 professor, 6 senior lecturers and 10 lecturers. Technologists from various companies are arranged periodically for taking technical workshops on recent development in the field, which is very vital for the students to keep in pace with the rapid developments in the field.

Our computer Department has 250 computers in the main lab and all the latest softwares are available in the compute lab. A department library with more than 1000 books are attached to the department for the benefit of the students and faculties.
Academic Achievements
Among the students of the last batch, 3 are Rank holders and 26 have secured Distinction.
Our students have participated in various State level seminars and National level Seminars.
The Computer Science &Engineering Department Association (CHIP) has been conducting various competitions such as Technical Paper Presentation, Software Presentation, Technical Quiz and etc.,
The Computer Science & Engineering Associated conducts one day seminar in every month.
For gaining the Industrial knowledge, the department is arranging Industrial visits every semester.
